How do you know if a children's church curriculum is for your setting? Well there are three different thoughts for you to consider in selecting any teaching materials that could be suitable for you.
First: Is the theme or topic one that appeals to you? Many times you maybe feeling that your kids need a spiritual shot in the arm. A particular theme is already on your heart or mind. That could be one way to determine your direction.
Second: You maybe in the middle of redoing your decor and need a particular topic that would tie in well with your new motif.
Third: You might have noticed a secular teaching that has taken root in your community that you feel needs correcting or combating it's influence with your kids. A counterbalance to the negative input with a spiritual challenge to God's way of thinking.
Whatever the reason just remember to be careful in your selection. Make sure it lines up with your standard or doctrinal view before you begin your first Sunday. Your kids are worth the best for their future spiritual growth depends on your choice today.
